Tom Callery has been working with clay for over twenty years, having studied Fine Art in college before establishing his own studio in County Sligo. His work has been widely exhibited and has received several awards.

Central to Tom’s practice is the use of the ancient Japanese Raku glazing technique, which produces unpredictable and richly iridescent surfaces. Each piece is individually crafted, resulting in subtle variations that make every work unique.

In addition to ceramic vessels, Tom creates a distinctive lighting range inspired by natural motifs such as cherry blossom and lovebirds, making them a popular choice for engagement and wedding gifts. He also specialises in decorative tiles and commissioned awards, working closely with clients to produce bespoke pieces.
